Terms of Service

Effective date: June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of omnitoolbox (the "Service"), operated at omnitoolbox.net. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Not professional advice. Nothing on omnitoolbox constitutes legal, security, financial, medical, or any other form of professional advice. Tool outputs are informational only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on them as a substitute for qualified professional guidance.

Results are estimates — not guarantees. Diagnostic and security tools including My IP & Privacy Audit, VPN & Proxy Checker, SSL Certificate Checker, DNS Lookup, WHOIS Lookup, HTTP Header Inspector, and Website Down Checker produce results based on third-party data sources (geolocation databases, WHOIS registries, DNS resolvers, certificate authorities) that may be delayed, cached, incomplete, or incorrect. These results are provided for informational reference only. Do not use them as the sole basis for security decisions, compliance determinations, infrastructure changes, or any other consequential action without independent verification.

1. The Service

omnitoolbox provides a collection of free online utilities including network diagnostics, security tools, developer utilities, and general-purpose tools. The Service is provided free of charge and without registration.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool, feature, or the Service as a whole at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. The following uses are expressly prohibited:

We reserve the right to block access to the Service for any user or IP address that we reasonably believe is in violation of these Terms, without notice and without liability.

3. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to:

Tool outputs depend on third-party data sources (registries, geolocation databases, DNS resolvers, certificate authorities) that are outside our control. Data from these sources may be delayed, cached, incorrect, or unavailable.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, omnitoolbox, its operators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

This includes, without limitation, damages resulting from:

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed USD $0 (zero dollars) or the minimum amount required by applicable law, whichever is greater.

5. User responsibility for results

You are solely responsible for evaluating and validating any result produced by the Service before acting on it. This includes but is not limited to:

omnitoolbox expressly disclaims any liability arising from reliance on tool outputs without independent validation.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless omnitoolbox and its operators from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right or privacy right; or (d) any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its HTML, CSS, JavaScript, design, and content, is owned by omnitoolbox and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for personal or internal business purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

Tool outputs (for example, a generated password, a computed hash, a formatted JSON document, or a generated UUID) are produced by your inputs processed through browser or server logic. We make no claim of ownership over outputs you generate using the tools.

9. Third-party services and affiliate links

The Service contains links to third-party websites and services, including affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, omnitoolbox may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are identified by an adjacent disclosure where they appear.

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website. Linking to a third-party service does not constitute an endorsement of that service beyond the specific context in which the link appears.

The Service displays advertising via Google AdSense. Google's terms and privacy practices govern its collection and use of data in connection with those ads. We are not responsible for the content of ads served by Google or any other advertising network.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you use the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications to these Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

We recommend checking this page periodically. We will not notify users of changes by email because the Service does not require registration or collect email addresses.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately and without prior notice or liability if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including sections on disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, and indemnification — shall survive.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and omnitoolbox regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings. No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of that term or any other term.
